The Mission of Wallflower Counselling

The heart behind Wallflower Counselling is to be a trusted resource for individuals, couples, and families in Calgary—and throughout Alberta through online counselling. Wallflower Counselling provides research-informed, family-focused care that helps people build healthier relationships, stronger families, and more fulfilling lives.

We believe that the impact of good counselling extends far beyond the individual. Growth and healing can strengthen marriages, enrich family relationships, and create positive ripple effects within communities and for generations to come. Whether navigating personal struggles, grief and loss, past wounds, mental health challenges, or relationship difficulties, Wallflower Counselling exists to provide compassionate support, practical tools, and evidence-based care.

Through individual counselling, couples counselling, premarital counselling, sex therapy, and discernment counselling, Wallflower Counselling supports people through every stage of life and relationships—with the hope of helping individuals and families flourish.

Meet Victoria

Victoria became a counsellor out of a genuine desire to help people. She believes counselling should feel both compassionate and practical—offering clients not only understanding and encouragement, but also clear direction and meaningful tools they can apply in everyday life. Her goal is to help people experience lasting growth that reaches beyond the counselling room and positively impacts their relationships, families, and communities.

Victoria values creating a space where clients feel safe to be honest about their struggles without fear of judgment. She balances gentleness with common sense, helping clients navigate difficult emotions while also working toward practical, achievable change. Whether someone is facing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or a challenging season of life, she aims to help clients move forward with greater hope, clarity, and confidence in themselves and their future.

She attended two Christian based institutions to get her bachellors and masters degrees. Victoria still relies on up-to-date and applicable-to-all methods of counselling but bases her values on the Christian faith, as she is a practing believer.

Outside of her work, Victoria enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, riding her e-bike, reading fantasy books, quilting, and hosting dinner parties. These parts of her life help shape the grounded and relational approach she brings into her counselling practice, valuing both personal growth and the importance of connection and community.
